The Somali Council of NSW is a not-for-profit peak umbrella body representing Somali community organisations across the state. We work to strengthen collaboration, improve access to services, and support Somali migrants and refugees to fully participate in Australian society.

The Somali Council of NSW is a not-for-profit organisation established for public benefit and the peak umbrella body representing Somali community organisations across New South Wales.

We provide a unified platform for collaboration, advocacy, and service delivery to improve outcomes for Somali migrants and refugees. By bringing together organisations, community leaders, and partners, we aim to strengthen community capacity, reduce disadvantage, and create opportunities for meaningful participation.

Our work focuses on empowering individuals, supporting families, preserving Somali culture, and building strong partnerships that benefit the wider community.
